Alfred Vincelette competed for the University of Denver, graduating in 1959. He was US Nordic combined champion in 1958-60. Vincelette later became a sales rep for the ski industry, representing Spyder Skiwear from 1980 until his retirement in 1996, after earlier stints with Head and Hot Gear. He died in a ski accident when he hit a permanent ski marker on Bald Mountain in Sun Valley.
