Biography

Kristina Koznick was a technical specialist in Alpine skiing who competed at three Winter Olympics – 1998, 2002, and 2006. Koznick was on the US national team from 1993-2000, and skied the World Cup circuit from 1993-2006, competing independently in her last six seasons. She won six World Cup races and had 20 podiums, all in slalom, and 55 top 10 finishes, with 51 in slalom, and 4 in giant slalom. Koznick finished second in the slalom season standings in both 1998 and 2002.

After retiring Koznick did broadcasting on television for Alpine ski races. She settled in Vail where she also played for the Vail Breakaways, a women’s hockey team.
