Austrian-born Markus Eberle was a German alpine skier who specialised in the slalom and giant slalom events. Unfortunately he could not finish any of his three races at the 1998 Nagano and 2002 Salt Lake City Winter Olympics. He started his career in Austria before making the move to Germany.
Eberle won six German national titles in the slalom (1997-98) and giant slalom (1997, 1999-2000, and 2003). After his active career, Eberle turned to coaching.
