Lisa Kosglow was an Alpine snowboarder who competed at the 1998 and 2002 Winter Olympics. Kosglow won the US Alpine snowboarding championship in 1997 and 2005. After her first Olympic appearance she sat out the 2000 season with a hip injury, but returned to make a second Olympic team. Kosglow was a five-time podium finisher on the World Cup circuit and finished in the top three eight times on the US Grand Prix circuit. She spent 13 years on the US national team, retiring in April 2006.
Kosglow settled in Hood River, Oregon where she worked with We Media Project overseeing new business development for video production on webcasting services. She also owned and ran Let’s Get Out, which organized and led summer adventure and exploration camps for children.
