Ferrario was on the US ski team from 1994-2002, retiring after missing the US team for Salt Lake City, and competed on the World Cup circuit for nine years. He had two podiums on the World Cup circuit, a silver at Tignes in December 1997, and a bronze at Altenmarkt-Zauchensee in March 1996. Ferrario graduated from the University of Utah in 2001 with a degree in exercise and sports science. He also later worked as a website designer, notably with Puma Global as a team member on the design of their digital platform.
