The city of Aigai was located on the Aegean coast region of Aeolis, today in western Turkey. The site of the city was rediscovered in the late 19th century, and is presently being excavated, near the village of Yuntdağı Köseler. A single Olympic champion is known from this polis, (Dei)philos, based on a coin with his likeness.
Not to be confused with the polis of Aigai in Cilicia.
