The city of Aigai (also Aegae) in situated in Cilicia, a small port on the Mediterranean. It is currently known as Yumurtalık and lies in southern Turkey. Nikostratos, who won the pankration and wrestling on the same day in 37 CE, hailed from Aigai.
Not to be confused with the polis of Aigai in Aeolis.
