Located on the north coast of the Gulf of Corinth, Antikyra is presently a small town in central Greece. It is sometimes thought to be the same town as Kyparissos, although that is probably a separate polis. In the 67 CE Games, postponed to accomodate Nero, Emperor of Rome, Xenodamos earned Antikyra’s only known laurel wreath.
