Midway Islands (MWI)

Midway Islands or Midway Atoll is an unorganized, unincorporated territory of the United States in the North Pacific Ocean. It has never competed at the Olympics and does not have a National Olympic Committee. It is most famous as the site of a decisive battle in World War II. Midway is technically part of the Hawaiian Archipelago, although it is not a part of the US state of Hawai’i.
