Description

Saint Kitts and Nevis, officially the Federation of Saint Christopher and Nevis, formed a National Olympic Committee (NOC) in 1986. The NOC was given official recognition by the International Olympic Committee (IOC) in September 1993, at the IOC Session in Monte Carlo, and has competed at all Olympic Summer Games since then. The Caribbean nation has not yet competed at the Olympic Winter Games nor won an Olympic medal.

Through 2022, all of Saint Kitts and Nevis’ 20 Olympians have participated in track & field athletics. Their star competitor has been sprinter Kim Collins, who reached three Olympic finals: a 7th place (2000) and a 6th place (2004) in the 100 metres, and a 6th place (2008) in the 200 metres.
