Both entered yachts were from Sweden. This was not much of a competition. In the first race of this event, both boats were disqualified for going off course. In the second race, “Sif” won, as “Elsie” did not finish because of gear problems. “Elsie” could not correct those problems and could not start the final race. “Sif” sailed over to win the gold medal. These boats were regulated per the 1907 Swedish rules.
