Jessica Joseph was a figure skater who competed in ice dance at the 1998 Nagano Olympics, alongside Charles Butler. Joseph and Butler were the 1998 World Junior Champions and runner-up that year at the US Championships. They had won the US Junior Championships in 1996 and 1997, and won the 1995 US Olympic Festival.
After the Nagano Olympics, Butler pursued a career in medicine and stopped skating competitively. Joseph joined up with Brandon Forsyth and together they won a bronze medal at the 2001 US Championships. The pair split after the 2001/02 season and Joseph left competitive skating.
