Tommy O’Hare skated the short-track relay for the United States at the 1998 Nagano Winter Olympics. O’Hare was also a two-time medalist at the Winter Universiade in the short-track relay, winning bronze in 1997 and silver in 1999. O’Hare had been a student at the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs, graduating magna cum laude with a degree in finance.
O’Hare later attended St. Louis University School of Law, earning a JD degree, and eventually passed the bar in California. He worked for the US Olympic Committee as the associate director of strategic planning for a time, and then joined Ustream.tv, where he was the director of business and content development. O’Hare moved to YouTube, where he was manager of the Sports Content Partnerships, which was responsible for the first ever streaming of the Olympics on social media. He then spent two years founding and as President of InstaViser, a digital site of instructional content from professional and Olympic athletes. He later joined the nascent Olympic Channel, working as part of their digital strategy.
