Biography

Holger Höhne was a German curler and later coach who participated in three Winter Olympics: 1998 at Nagano, 2006 at Torino, and 2010 at Vancouver. His teams finished eighth, eighth, and sixth, respectively. At the World Championships he earned two silvers (1997, 2007) and three bronzes (1994, 1995, 2005). At the European Championships he won three golds (1992, 1997, 2013) and one bronze (2008).

Nationally, Höhne won championships in 1994-95, 1997, 1999-2001, 2005, and 2007-2011 with his home club Curling Club Füssen. In 2012, he was named national chief youth coach in Germany.
