Tim Solin was a curler who competed at the 1998 Nagano Winter Olympics. Solin continued competing well after Nagano and won US titles in the sport in 2011, 2016, and 2017, participating at the World Championships all three years. He was Minnesota Champion in 2007, and runner-up in the state in 1987 and 1990. Solin graduated from the University of Minnesota, studying in the Institute of Technology.
