Tara Mounsey played defense in high school for Concord High School in New Hampshire, where she played on the boys’ team, but was named the New Hampshire Player of the Year (Class L), after leading Concord to the 1996 State Championship. She later played college hockey at Brown University, and earned a graduate degree from Boston College. Mounsey became a nurse practitioner and practices medicine at New England Baptist Hospital, and also coaches the Buckingham, Browne & Nichols School in Cambridge, Massachusetts.
