Ashley Hayden was an American luger who was born in Framingham, Massachusetts and went on to compete at the 2002 Salt Lake City Winter Olympics. Hayden won two silver medals in the mixed team event at the 2004 and 2005 World Luge Championships. She had one podium finish in World Cup races, with a third at Winterberg in 2005. Hayden was a seven-time USA champion in the luge start championships, in 1998-2004 and 2007.
In 2006 she married Bengt Walden, a four-time luge Olympian from Sweden who became an American citizen. Hayden later worked for NBC Sports as a luge researcher. In 2014 she became director of internal operations at the US Bobsled and Skeleton Federation.
