Shavez Hart was a Bahamian sprinter who won bronze medals in the 100 metres and both relays at the 2011 CARIFTA Games. He added another bronze in the 4x100 relay at the 2011 Pan American Junior Championships.
Hart went to South Plains College in Texas and won the 100-200 double at the 2012 National Junior College Championships. He later transferred to Texas A&M University. In 2013 he ran on the Bahamian relay team that won the 2013 CAC Championships, setting a national record in the 4x100.
Sadly, Hart died quite young. On 2 September 2022, he was shot to death after an argument at a Bahamian night club, just shy of 30-years-old.
Personal Bests: 100 – 10.10 (2015) [10.08w (2013)]; 200 – 20.23 (2015).
