Caroline Park played ice hockey for the combined Korean team at the 2018 PyongChang Winter Olympics. Born in Canada, her parents had emigrated from Korea before she was born. Park was given Korean citizenship in 2015 to allow her to play for Korea at the Olympics. She attended college at Princeton University, where she played hockey. She was also a child actor, appearing in several Canadian television shows and commercials.
At the time of the 2018 Winter Olympics, after doing research at Hospital for Special Surgery in New York, Park was a medical student at Columbia University, and she earned her MD degree after the Olympics. She was then accepted as a resident in orthopaedic surgery at Duke University Medical Center, planning a career in orthopaedics and sports medicine.
