Cyclists Bruno and his brother Max Götze won the silver medal in the tandem sprint at the 1906 Athina Olympics, just ahead of their teammates Karl Arnold and Otto Küpferling. Bruno also competed in four individual events with limited results. In 1908 Bruno Götze returned to the Olympics in London, but also did not qualify for a final in four individual events.
