Edward Lansing was a member of the Glen Echo Country Club in St. Louis, site of the 1904 Olympic golf. We know little about him, although he was a broker of some sort. He did not make the match play at the Olympic tournament, but qualified for the third flight of the consolation events, where he went to the semi-finals, losing to the winner of the third flight, Bart Adams, by 8&7.
