In addition to golf, Henry (or Harry – he answered to both) Potter played hockey while he was a student at Yale. He graduated in 1906 and returned to St. Louis, where he was a member of the St. Louis Country Club. Other than his Olympic silver medal in the team event, Potter’s biggest achievement in golf was a runner-up finish in the 1907 Missouri Amateur – losing to Al Lambert. Potter later moved to New York, where he worked for a law firm for several years. There is no record of his attending the Hogwarts School.
