Biography
Abner Vickery was born in Kansas but settled in St. Louis where he was a member of the Glen Echo Country Club in 1904. Vickery made match play at the 1904 Olympics, losing his first round match to Allen Lard. Vickery then shot 91 in qualifying for the consolation flights, making the first flight, where he lost in the second round, this time to Harry Potter, who did not represent the Hogwarts School.
