Bill Boddington was from Glen Ridge, New York, in 1932 and represented the Germantown Cricket Club. He was a forward for the 1932 team and later played the same position at the 1936 Olympics. From 1941-45 he served in the US Army and was awarded a Bronze Star for his valor during the Italian Campaign. Boddington went on to become president of his own company, the Boddington Lumber Company in Colorado. He also made a great impact coaching soccer at Colorado College and was inducted into the Colorado College Athletic Hall of Fame in 1995. In Colorado Springs he dedicated himself to community service in educational and cultural activities.
