Biography

Valentina Prudskova was a foil fencer who competed at the 1960 and 1964 Olympics for the Soviet Union, winning two medals in the team foil, with gold in 1960 and silver in 1964. At the World Championships, Prudskova won six medals, with golds in team foil in 1958, 1961, and 1965, adding silvers in 1959 and 1962 team foil, and a bronze in 1965 individual foil. She also won two medals at the 1961 Universiade with a silver in the team event and a bronze in the individual event.
