Fencer Hannes Lembacher was part of the Austrian Olympic épée team for the 1976 Olympics but did not participate. At the 1984 Los Angeles Games, he finished 35th in the individual épée. In 1976, 1981 and 1984 Lembacher won the Austrian national title.
