Burke Boyce went to Harvard, graduating in 1922. He captained the fencing team his senior year, with his twin brother, Lane, also on the team. Burke later became a professor of English and taught at Harvard for many years. Boyce was inducted into the Harvard Varsity Club Hall of Fame in 1978. His son, Peter Boyce, became a renowned physics professor at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
