Biography

Footballer Saravuth Parthipakoranchai was one of the best goalkeepers in Thailand. Parthipakoranchai began his career as a youth player for Osotspa FC in 1961 before joining Customs United in 1964 for one season. From there he moved to Bangkok Bank FC where he won the Asian Youth Championships in 1966, before being named the best goalkeeper in the country in 1969. His international career spanned from 1966 to 1976, with him playing in more than 120 matches for his country. Parthipakoranchai was part of the Thai squad that played in the football tournament at the 1968 Mexico City Olympics. Four years later he was part of the team that finished third at the 1972 AFC Asian Cup.
