Biography
Robert Burkard was a football (soccer) goalkeeper who competed for the US at the 1952 Helsinki Olympics. Burkard played for the St. Louis Kutis club and earned one international cap when he played for the US in a World Cup qualifier in 1957, losing to Canada. Burkard was inducted into the St. Louis Soccer Hall of Fame in 1986.
