We probably know as little about Johnson as any US Olympian, as we do not even know his given name. He was a left winger who played for St. Rose, probably winning a bronze medal. He did not play in the game against Galt FC, but did play against Christian Brothers College when he replaced Tom Cooke, after Cooke broke his leg.
