Archie Roboostoff played soccer as a forward at Skyline Junior College and at the University of San Francisco. He played for the United States at the 1972 Olympics while representing Concordia Athletic Club and earned seven additional caps for the US national team from 1973-75.
Roboostoff played in the North American Soccer League (NASL) from 1974-78, starting with San Jose Earthquakes for two years, before being traded to the San Diego Sockers. He played his last two seasons with the Portland Timbers (1977) and the Oakland Stompers (1978). In his 103-game NASL career he scored 20 goals, with 19 assists. In 1975 he helped lead San Jose to the NASL Indoor title.
Roboostoff had various careers but eventually became a wine grower. He was inducted into the Daly City Police Athletic League Hall of Fame in 2013 alongside his brothers, Constantin and Alex.
