Todd Sweeris competed in doubles table tennis at both the 1996 and 2000 Olympic Games. He also won a gold medal in the team competition at the 1999 Pan American Games. Sweeris appeared at the World Championships in 2000 and 2003. He won the 1995 singles event at the US Olympic Festival and was a three-time US Doubles Champion.
Sweeris served two terms on the USA Table Tennis Board of Directors, as an athlete rep in 1995 and 2001. He was later elected to the USA Table Tennis Hall of Fame in 2013.
Sweeris attended the University of Maryland, graduating in 1998, after which he joined Deloitte. He became a senior manager at Deloitte in 2006, the same year he earned a masters’ degree in taxation from American University. In 2013 Sweeris was made a full partner with Deloitte.
