Sid Walker was entered in the 1904 individual golf event but did not start. Walker was a St. Louis native who played out of the St. Louis Country Club. He was a relative of George Herbert Walker, who was the donor of the Walker Cup, the grandfather of US President George H. W. Bush, and the great-grandfather of his son, US President George W. Bush.
