Stefania Krupa was a Polish gymnast who represented Sokoła Warszawa. At the 1936 Berlin Olympics she competed in the all-round team event. The Polish team finished in sixth place out of eight. Outside of gymnastics Krupa had several jobs between 1928 and 1941, including a clerk saleswoman and a tailor.
During World War II Krupa was imprisoned at the Stalag X-B prisoner-of-war camp in Sandbostel before she was transferred to Stalag VI-C in Oberlangen. Krupa also took part in the Warsaw Uprising in 1944. After liberation Krupa served in the Women’s Air Force Auxiliary Service and in 1946 she registered with the Polish Red Cross. Krupa died in 1981 and was posthumously awarded the Warsaw Uprising Cross.
