The pinnacle of Miloš Kolejka’s gymnastics career came at the 1952 Helsinki Olympics, where he placed seventh with the Czechoslovakian team in the all-around with Ferdinand Daniš, Zdeněk Růžička, Josef Svoboda, Leo Sotorník, Josef Škvor, Jindřich Mikulec, and Vladimír Kejř. Individually, his best finish was in the all-around, where he placed 63rd. His competitive career wound down after the Games, but he subsequently had a lengthy stint as a coach in his home country. Among his more notable experiences in this role was helping to lead the Czechoslovakian team at the 1972 Munich Games. He continued to practice gymnastics personally into his 70s.
