Ron Barak attended Southern Cal, winning three NCAA titles in 1964, in all-around, horizontal bar, and parallel bars. He also was on the USC team that won the 1962 NCAA team title. In 1961 Barak had won four gold medals at the Maccabiah Games in the all-around, high bar, parallel bars, and rings. He also won the 1964 AAU high bar championships. Barak later became a gymnastics coach, coaching at USC from 1965-68 and he was the US head coach at the 1967 Universiade. He was inducted into the US Gymnastics Hall of Fame in 1995.
