Biography

Emil Rothe competed in four events at the 1904 St. Louis Olympics. He competed in the individual all-around (27th); the individual all-around, apparatus work (26th); the individual all-around, field sports (=52nd); and the team all-around, apparatus work and field sports (9th). Rothe represented the La Salle Turnverein in Chicago. He worked in Chicago as a physical education instructor.
