Between 1924 and 1934, László Bartók won 11 Hungarian championship titles (6x with coxed eights and 5x with coxed fours) as a memeber of the Pannonia team. In 1928, he competed at the Amsterdam Olympics when his club crew were chosen to represent Hungary. He achieved his greatest success in the 1930s when he won one gold (1932 in coxless fours) and two bronze (1931 eights and 1933 coxless fours) medals at the European Championships. After finishing his sports career he worked as a trainer at the Danube Rowing Association of Budapest.
