Roberta Del Core was a high school junior when she coxed the 1984 women’s Olympic quadruple sculls. Along with Raffaella Memo, Alessandra Borio, Donata Minorati, and Antonella Corazza the Italians finished sixth in the final. It was the first Italian women’s crew to compete at the Olympic Games.
