Frans van Bronckhorst was an Indonesian welterweight boxer who enjoyed national and international success in the 1970s. In 1971 Van Bronckhorst won bronze at the Asian Championships in Tehran before winning gold in the same event two years later in Bangkok. One year later he won another bronze, this time at the Asian Games in Tehran. In 1976 Van Bronckhorst represented Indonesia at the Montréal Olympics but lost in his opening bout to Robert Dauer of Australia.
