Jennifer Corbet attended and rowed for Brown University. She also received additional schooling at the University of Michigan in the School of Natural Resources and at the Oregon College of Oriental Medicine. Corbet competed at the 1988 Seoul Olympics in the quadruple sculls, and also rowed for the USA at the 1987 World Championships in the coxless pair, finishing fourth. She became a medical writer, a wellness coordinator, and eventually, a publisher of local community magazines.
