Jack Johnson shot in various rifle events, winning the 1966 Interservice Trapshooting title, competing at the 1965 World Championships in running target, and winning the 1971 US title in skeet shooting. He competed at the 1972 Olympics in skeet. Johnson attended Ball State University, and then joined the US Air Force, retiring in 1987 as a master sergeant.
