Arnold Riegger, introduced to trapshooting by his father, eventually won 17 Washington state ATA titles and 11 Western Zone championships, but his biggest title was winning the 1959 Grand American Trapshooting championship. He shot until the late 1960s when he was slowed by throat cancer. Riegger had a long business career working for Boeing. He was elected to the Trapshooting Hall of Fame in 1975
