Heinz Schaub was the Swiss springboard diving champion from 1952–54. Selected for the Swiss Olympic team to compete at the Helsinki Olympics in 1952, Schaub competed in both the platform and springboard events, though finished in second-last and last place in each event, respectively. His brother, Arnold was also an active diver in the 1940s and 1950s; the pair competed together on the Swiss national team on a few occasions in the early 1950s.
