Three of the four members of the winning U.S. relay team in 1924 also won medals in individual events, but Euphrasia Donnolly competed only in the relay where the U.S. beat Great Britain by almost 20 seconds to set a new world record. Miss Donnolly was from Indianapolis and never won an AAU title.
