Forward Anton Kunz was a member of the Austrian water polo team at the 1936 Berlin Olympics. The team finished sixth eventually after placing second in the classification round 5-8. He returned to the 1952 Helsinki Olympics, when the team was eliminated in the preliminaries. Domestically, Kunz played with 1. WASC Wien (Vienna).
