Phil Daubenspeck swam for the Los Angeles AC and competed at both the 1932 and 1936 Olympics. He was one of the four members of the 1932 medal-winning water polo team who also competed in 1936. Daubenspeck was a Los Angeles native who worked as a Los Angeles County lifeguard.
