Miguel Arellano played basketball for Mexico at the 1964 and 1968 Olympics. Arellano played for the Ola Verde de Poza Rica team, which won Mexican titles in 1963-65. He was a silver medalist at the 1967 Pan American Games and won silver (1966) and bronze (1962) medals at the Central American and Caribbean Games.
