Austrian sprinter Hermann Geißler won 16 Austrian titles in 100 meters (1928), 200 meters (1927-1929), 400 meters (1927-1929), and the long jump (1933 and 1934). He also won relay titles over 4×100 meters (1927-1930 and 1934) and 4×400 meters (1928 and 1933). At the 1928 Amsterdam Olympics he was eliminated in the heats of the 100 meters and in the semi-finals of the 200 and 400 meters.
