Sprinter Fritz Schedl was Austrian champion in 100 metres (1922) and 4×100 metres relay (1921, 1922, 1924-25). He participated in the 100 metres at the 1924 Paris Olympics but was eliminated in the heats. He was also selected for the 4x100 metres relay, but the Austrian team did not start for unknown reasons.
